WordPress

WordPress is a web log, or Blog, implemenatation. Literally, it is a set of PHP scripts that work with an Apache web server and MySQL database.

At PortingWordPressLocalhostToISP, you can read about a reasonably direct way of porting a WordPress installation from one server site to another.

Also, at WordPressDatabaseFiles, there is some discussion of how MySQL stores WordPress data on disk.
